How it works

Set it up once.
It checks every morning after that.

  1. 01

Track the searches you want to win

Add your app by name or App Store link, then the searches that matter. Each gets its rank, popularity and difficulty, every morning, in every country you pick.

The keyword table with ranks, changes, popularity, difficulty and 30-day trends
  2. 02

    See what each update did

New versions are spotted automatically and marked on your visibility chart. Every search is compared before the release, and 3, 7 and 14 days after.

Visibility over time with each release marked, and the ranks before and after the latest release
  3. 03

Fix your listing before you ship

Paste your name, subtitle and keyword field. Keywatch flags wasted words, duplicates and category words Apple already indexes, then suggests the words that complete your searches.

The listing checker with character counts, issues and the best words to add
  4. 04

    Find the searches rivals win

Your rank next to every competitor’s, for every search. The gaps, where they’re in the top 50 and you aren’t, come first. You’re told when they change their listing.

Head-to-head ranks against competitors for every tracked search, gaps first

FAQ

Good questions.

Where do the numbers come from?

Straight from the App Store’s own public search, autocomplete, product page, chart and review endpoints, asked from your Mac. iPhone ranks are Apple’s real order down to #250. On the Mac App Store the first dozen are exact and later ones approximate (marked ≈).

How is popularity worked out?

Apple only shows its score inside Apple Search Ads, so Keywatch estimates it from autocomplete: how few letters someone types before Apple suggests the search. It’s on a 5–100 scale, marked as an estimate, and good for comparing searches.

Do I need App Store Connect?

No. Keywatch needs no Apple account. Your keyword field isn’t public, so the listing checker asks you to paste it.

What leaves my Mac?

Search terms and app IDs, sent to Apple. With Pro, your license key is checked with Keywatch’s license server about once a week. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. See the privacy policy.

Does it check when the app is closed?

Yes. A small background check runs every morning at 8:05, or when your Mac wakes, and sends a notification if something changed.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. See the refund policy.

Intel Macs?

Not yet. Keywatch needs Apple silicon and macOS 13 Ventura or later.

What if Apple changes something?

Keywatch gets an update and the app tells you. Updates are included in Pro.
